ZATO Participates in AfCFTA Private Sector Workshop

The Zanzibar Association of Tour Operators (ZATO) participated in the Private Sector National Workshop on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Agreement held from 6th – 8th July 2026 in Zanzibar.
The workshop was organized by the Zanzibar National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) in collaboration with the East African Business Council (EABC), with support from GIZ.
The three-day workshop focused on strengthening private sector understanding of AfCFTA, including market access opportunities, trade facilitation, rules of origin, customs procedures, and strategies for enhancing cross-border business cooperation across Africa.
