ZATO AND PAJE CAVE

On 10th July 2026, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Zanzibar Association of Tour Operators (ZATO), Ms. Raya Juma Omar, held a meeting with the Marketing Manager of Paje Cave, Ms Asia to discuss potential areas of collaboration between the two organizations.
Paje Cave is a family-owned and locally operated tourism attraction located in Paje, Zanzibar. It offers visitors a unique experience that includes swimming in an underground freshwater cave, guided cave tours, nature walks, a butterfly sanctuary, tropical gardens, a petting zoo, and authentic Zanzibari cultural experiences.
The meeting focused on establishing a mutually beneficial partnership between ZATO and Paje Cave. Both parties discussed ways of increasing the visibility of Paje Cave among licensed tour operators while creating additional business opportunities for ZATO members.
